What you'll do Manage day-to-day sanctions compliance and conduct regular control testing to ensure the sanctions controls are operating effectively Monitor sanctions updates and ensure compliance with OFAC, UN, EU, HMT, and applicable local sanctions regimes; maintain the prohibited countries and prohibited activities list Collaborate with stakeholders to assess sanctions risks of new and existing products Draft, maintain and annually review global compliance policies and procedures Support the preparation of policies and procedures required for license applications in accordance to the local regulations in various jurisdictions Design and deliver compliance training to all staff levels; maintain training records properly What you'll need Bachelor's degree; professional certification such as CGSS highly preferred 5-8 years of experience in sanctions compliance, compliance and/or AML policy drafting, or compliance training experience within a VASP, crypto exchange, or fintech Excellent professional writing skills and ability to present concisely and precisely In-depth knowledge of international sanctions frameworks applied to the crypto industry Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple workstreams (sanctions tuning, policy updates, training rollouts) under pressure Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail; ability to interpret ambiguous crypto regulations into clear policies and procedures Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) Why Bitget?
