What you'll do Act as a member of the board of directors of the Argentine entity and discharge all duties in accordance with Argentine Companies Law (LGS 19.550) and the company’s bylaws.
Participate in board (and, where relevant, shareholder) meetings, review materials and vote on resolutions in the best interests of the company.
Oversee, at a governance level, the company’s compliance with key Argentine obligations, including: corporate law formalities (registrations, minutes, statutory filings); tax and social security duties (AFIP); foreign‑exchange and cross‑border rules where relevant; AML/CFT requirements (UIF regulations), data protection and basic consumer‑protection rules.
Maintain oversight of local activities involving Argentine users (e.g. onboarding/KYC, marketing into Argentina, complaints handling) and escalate material legal, regulatory, tax or reputational issues to group management.
Coordinate closely with group Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance and Operations to ensure that Argentine practices align with global policies, risk appetite and applicable local law.
Act, within agreed authority limits, as a local signatory for corporate, banking and key third‑party documents, following appropriate review and internal approvals.
Exercise independent judgment, request additional information where needed, and decline to approve actions that may breach Argentine law, regulatory requirements or director duties.
Help ensure adequate documentation of governance decisions (board minutes, resolutions) and that the Argentine entity maintains proper corporate records.
What you'll need Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or related discipline.
Must be an Argentine national and hold a valid local tax ID (CUIT) .
Minimum 10–15 years of senior management experience in financial services, fintech, digital assets, or regulated trading venues.
Demonstrable experience in a regulated environment , preferably with exchanges, brokers, or virtual asset service providers.
Strong understanding of: Virtual asset markets and exchange operations; Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
High standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
