What you'll do Strategic Marketing Leadership Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives, regulatory constraints, and risk appetite as a licensed CASP.

Manage the marketing budget, allocating resources efficiently across brand, performance, content, and events to maximize ROI within regulatory boundaries.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management Serve as the marketing compliance gatekeeper: Ensure all marketing materials, campaigns, and public communications comply with MiCAR provisions (especially with reference to Article 66), local consumer protection laws as well as FMA guidelines.

Implement robust review processes ensuring all marketing content is pre-cleared by Legal/Compliance.

Digital Growth & Performance Marketing Lead digital acquisition strategy across paid social (LinkedIn, X/Twitter), programmatic display, SEO/SEM, and crypto-native channels, ensuring all campaigns respect EU Digital Services Act and Austrian data protection requirements.

Develop content marketing and thought leadership strategies (whitepapers, regulatory commentary, market insights) positioning the firm as a compliant, institutional-grade platform.

Oversee CRM and lifecycle marketing to optimize client onboarding, activation, and retention within the constraints of financial promotions law.

Manage external agencies, media partners, and influencer relationships, ensuring all third-party marketing activities are contractually bound by compliance standards and supervised appropriately.

Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Leadership Partner closely with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure marketing strategies are developed within regulatory guardrails.

Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to ensure marketing communications accurately reflect platform capabilities, security features, and custody arrangements.

Interface with Finance on budget, forecasting, and marketing spend attribution.

Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of compliance-first creativity and data-driven decision making.

What you'll need >5 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role within financial services, fintech, crypto, or regulated technology sectors.

Demonstrated experience working within regulated environments, preferably licensed financial institutions, investment firms, payment institutions, or CASPs under MiCAR/MiFID.

Familiarity with EU financial regulations, specifically MiCAR, consumer protection laws, ESMA guidelines and GDPR.

Proven track record managing high-growth digital marketing across paid, organic, content, and CRM channels, with strong data analytics and budget management capabilities.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; additional qualifications in financial regulation or compliance a plus.
