About the Role

Our client is launching a regulated Centralized Exchange (CEX) in the UAE and require a hands-on Technical Lead / CTO with deep exchange infrastructure expertise.

You will own the exchange architecture end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and build order book & matching engine Design settlement and custody systems Implement real-time trading infrastructure (low latency, WebSockets) Integrate custody providers (Fireblocks, Copper, BitGo) Build market surveillance & anti-manipulation tools Lead technical sections of exchange license applications Oversee trading pair listings & liquidity architecture

Requirements

5+ years building trading systems (CEX/DEX/traditional exchanges) Experience with high-performance matching engines Strong custody & wallet infrastructure background Real-time system architecture experience Knowledge of crypto regulatory frameworks (VARA, MAS, FCA)
