We are looking for a Procurement Manager to establish and manage the organiaation’s procurement function. This role will be responsible for building and governing the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, managing vendor relationships, driving cost optimisation, and setting up procurement policies and frameworks. The individual will act as the single point of contact for procurement across the organisation and will work closely with Business Finance, Admin, Legal, IT, and other internal stakeholders to ensure efficient purchasing, compliance, and value creation.
You need to be a HODLer of these
* 6–8 years of experience in Procurement / Strategic Sourcing / P2P operations. * Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay lifecycle and vendor management. * Proven experience in commercial negotiations and contract management. * Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. * Knowledge of procurement compliance, financial controls, and audit practices. * Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. * Experience with ERP / procurement tools is preferred.Preferred:
* Ability to build and scale procurement processes from scratch. * Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. * Ability to manage multiple procurement categories and projects simultaneously.
You will be mining through these tasks
* Establish and manage the central procurement function for the organization. * Own and drive the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process including requisition, vendor selection, purchase orders, invoicing, and payments. * Develop and implement procurement policies, frameworks, and governance structures. * Identify opportunities for cost optimization, vendor consolidation, and value creation. * Ensure procurement activities are aligned with business needs, budgets, and compliance requirements.
* Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors and service providers across categories. * Facilitate commercial negotiations and contract discussions by coordinating inputs, ensuring pricing alignment, and maintaining compliance with internal frameworks. * Build long-term strategic vendor partnerships to ensure quality, service levels, and cost efficiency. * Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews and maintain vendor scorecards.
* Drive process excellence across the procurement lifecycle, ensuring efficient intake, sourcing, and handoff into the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process. * Develop and roll out standard operating procedures (SOPs) and procurement workflows. * Work closely with Finance to ensure smooth invoice processing, budget tracking, and payment cycles. * Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, audit requirements, and compliance standards.
* Partner closely with Business Finance, Admin, Legal, IT, HR, and other business teams for procurement requirements. * Provide procurement guidance and support to stakeholders across the organization. * Act as the single point of contact for all procurement-related matters.
* Establish procurement policies, approval matrices, and spending guidelines. * Drive contract governance and documentation standards in coordination with Legal. * Ensure compliance with internal policies, audit guidelines, and regulatory requirements. * Implement procurement tracking, reporting, and dashboards for leadership visibility.
* Identify opportunities to automate procurement workflows and tools. * Implement best practices to improve procurement efficiency, transparency, and turnaround time. * Support implementation of procurement systems or procurement modules in ERP tools if required.
