Blockdaemon is seeking a highly motivated and organised Senior Paralegal to join its growing Legal & Compliance team. This role is a key operational and legal partner across a range of matters, including commercial contracts, corporate governance, marketing, regulatory, and cross-border compliance. The Senior Paralegal will take end-to-end ownership of complex projects in a fast-moving, remote-first environment and is expected to operate with significant autonomy. Responsibilities include: Contracts: Drafting, reviewing, and managing commercial agreements (SaaS/IaaS, NDAs, vendor, partnership, data processing agreements); developing and maintaining standard templates, playbooks, and approval workflows. Corporate Governance: Managing global entity records (formations, qualifications, dissolutions, regulatory filings across multiple jurisdictions); supporting corporate governance activities (board resolutions, corporate minute books, cap tables, governance documentation, entity maintenance, subsidiary management); and supporting board meeting logistics. Regulatory & Compliance: Monitoring regulatory developments in digital assets, staking, and DeFi across key jurisdictions (US, EU/MiCA, UK, APAC); supporting licence and registration applications; assisting with responses to government inquiries and subpoenas; assisting with data privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA); and supporting employment and HR-related legal matters globally. Marketing: Reviewing and providing legal support for marketing and communications materials, ensuring compliance; drafting marketing agreements (rights of publicity, case studies, releases, sponsorships, events). Legal Operations: Owning and continuously improving legal tooling, document repositories, and workflows; owning the contract lifecycle management (CLM) system; identifying and implementing tooling improvements (e.g., e-signature, matter management, knowledge management). Qualifications: 8+ years of paralegal experience (in-house or law firm), 2+ years in a senior capacity, strong background in corporate/commercial law, technology contracts, international entity management, multi-jurisdictional filings, proficiency with CLM software (Ironclad, SpotDraft or similar), DocuSign, GSuite/M365, excellent written communication, organisational skills, comfortable with autonomy and ambiguity. Preferred: Experience in blockchain/crypto/Web3/digital asset companies, familiarity with digital asset regulations (MiCA, VASP/AMLD5, FCA, FinCEN), exposure to GDPR/CCPA/other data protection frameworks, experience supporting intercompany restructurings.
