Software Engineer

About the Role You will build, test, and release product and platform features with stringent correctness and scalability requirements. You will design and implement software, APIs, and data pipelines using Go and Python. You will collaborate with trading partners and cross functional teams to deliver robust and secure financial services. You will ensure performance and reliability at scale.

Requirements Master’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field. Golang and Python programming languages, data structures, algorithms and software design. Distributed and highly concurrent systems, microservice architecture, messaging middleware. REST design and implementation. Cloud computing platforms and orchestration technology. Relational and NoSQL databases systems, designing and optimizing database queries. Background checks required.

Responsibilities Build, test, and release product facing and platform features with stringent correctness and scalability requirements. Design and write software and API using REST and messaging middleware. Utilize Go and Python to drive solutions development. Write database queries and code to store data to enable complex financial services processes. Design solutions to fix scalability problems and implement them. Test software systems for scalability and performance problems and identify opportunities for improvement. Work with trading partners to integrate with their systems to provide customers access to markets across supported asset classes. Collaborate with operations, execution, risk and data partners to deliver robust and reliable solutions. Build, test, and release operational-facing features with stringent correctness and compliance requirements. Telecommuting permitted.
