Role Overview
We’re looking for a high-performance Sales Executive to join the KuCoin Australia team. This is not a call-centre role — this is real sales, real impact, and direct involvement in scaling one of the world’s largest crypto brands into the Australian market.
You will work directly with the local leadership team, contributing to growth across:
- Existing live verticals
- Future product lines preparing to enter the market
- User activation, reactivation, and high-value engagement
- Strategic partnerships and local expansion
You’ll be part of a team building the foundation of KuCoin Australia from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Client Activation & User Growth
- Build and manage a pipeline of high-value Australian users.
- Reactivate dormant users and convert new ones from competing platforms.
- Drive volume across multiple current and upcoming verticals.
Institutional & High-Value Engagement
- Work closely with the Head of Sales on institutional-level conversations, testing groups, and potential future liquidity partners.
- Engage with sophisticated traders, high-value clients, communities, and leaders.
Sales Execution Across Multiple Verticals
- Hit weekly and monthly performance targets.
- Drive adoption of new payment rails, AUD deposit methods, and platform features.
- Execute structured outreach, campaigns, and community-led growth.
Strategic Partnerships
- Work directly with the Managing Director on high-impact partnerships in Australia.
- Identify and cultivate relationships that can amplify KuCoin’s local footprint.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work tightly with local leadership in Product, Compliance, Marketing, and Operations.
- Provide real-time market feedback to improve user flows and product experiences.
- Support KYC/KYB onboarding journeys for smoother client conversions.
Compliance Alignment
- Ensure all sales and outreach align with AUSTRAC, AML/CTF, and internal procedures.
- Understand the regulatory environment and operate within its guardrails.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have
- Strong background in sales or business development (crypto, fintech, trading, or similar preferred).
- Confidence engaging with high-value clients and communities.
- Fast execution and ability to operate under pressure.
- Understanding of crypto markets and user behaviour.
- Strong communication skills and a self-directed work ethic.
- Comfortable working directly with leadership in a high-velocity environment.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience at a crypto exchange or fintech company.
- Existing network of traders, communities, or partners.
- Knowledge of AUSTRAC/ASIC frameworks.
- Able to attend events and represent KuCoin Australia professionally.
