About the Role You will investigate complex blockchain incidents including phishing, exploits, hacks, terrorism finance, account takeovers, money laundering, SIM swaps, and ransomware. You will perform time-sensitive fund tracing and analysis, produce written reports and deliver briefings, and conduct long-term research into categories of blockchain crime. You will handle sensitive investigations for partners, identify and onboard new attribution sources, react quickly to live events, support cross-functional teams on urgent matters, and participate in on-call rotations that may include weekend responses.
Requirements Practical experience with virtual currencies and blockchain analysis is a plus and strong enthusiasm to learn is essential 3-5 years combined experience as an investigator or analyst Experience briefing senior leaders Experience structuring problems and prioritizing critical issues Exceptional attention to detail Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to technical and non-technical audiences, verbally and in writing Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities Ability to work collaboratively across functions and support teammates
