Senior Backend Engineer, Platform

About the Role You will design, develop, and maintain backend systems that power shared services. You will write high-quality, well-tested code and review peers' code. You will provide technical guidance on architectural and coding tradeoffs, drive cross-pod technical initiatives, and improve developer productivity and system reliability through automation and best practices. You will build and operate large-scale production systems on the cloud and contribute to 0→1 system design.

Requirements 6+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on infrastructure Proficiency in TypeScript, Go, or Rust Excellent coding skills, strong debugging capabilities, and knowledge of algorithms Deep understanding of AWS cloud constructs and architecture Experience designing, building, and maintaining large-scale production systems on the cloud Ability to build systems from the ground up (0→1) Passion for building scalable, reliable systems
