Serve as a principal legal advisor, providing comprehensive support across the company's global operations, with a particular emphasis on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), strategic investments, and corporate financing initiatives.
Spearhead the legal execution of M&A projects, encompassing the management of due diligence processes and the expert drafting, meticulous review, and negotiation of intricate transaction documentation.
Engage in strategic collaboration with and management of external legal counsel to ensure optimal project delivery, coupled with the rigorous control of legal risks and judicious cost management.
Participate in the management of portfolio companies post-investment, including but not limited to monitoring compliance, advising on strategic decisions, while continuing to provide legal support on contractual, regulatory, and corporate governance matters as necessary.
Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 5-8 years of post-qualification experience, demonstrating a profound specialization in M&A garnered from a highly-regarded domestic or international law firm (prior experience at a prominent domestic "Red Circle" firm or international law firm is considered a significant asset).
Bar Admission: Possess qualifications to practice law in either the People's Republic of China or a major common law jurisdiction (e.g., Hong Kong, United Kingdom, United States, Singapore).
Education: An advanced legal degree (JD/LLM) conferred by an elite overseas law school (e.g., a U.S. T14 or U.K. G5 institution).
Language Skills: Exceptional professional fluency in English, evidenced by the capability to expertly draft and negotiate complex legal documentation and operate effectively within a professional English-speaking environment.
Competencies: Demonstrated capacity for independent project leadership, effective collaboration within a team structure, and superior proficiency in communication and complex problem-solving.
Industry Interest (Preferred): A strong professional affinity for or substantive prior exposure to the fintech or crypto-asset sectors.
