The Impact you will have in this role:
The Development family is responsible for creating, designing, deploying, and supporting applications, programs, and software solutions. May include research, new development, prototyping, modification, reuse, re-engineering, maintenance, or any other activities related to software products used internally or externally on product platforms supported by the firm. The software development process requires in-depth subject matter expertise in existing and emerging development methodologies, tools, and programming languages. Software Developers work closely with business partners and / or external clients in defining requirements and implementing solutions. The Software Engineering role specializes in planning, documenting technical requirements, designing, developing, and testing all software systems and applications for the firm. Works closely with architects, product managers, project management, and end-users in the development and enhancement of existing software systems and applications, proposing and recommending solutions that solve complex business problems.
We are seeking a skilled ETL Developer / Data Engineer to design and build scalable data pipelines for enterprise data platforms. The role focuses on integrating multiple data sources into Snowflake/Oracle-based data warehouses, leveraging Java/Python, REST APIs, and modern data engineering practices.
Primary Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources (databases, APIs, files) into target data platforms such as Snowflake and Oracle

Build and optimize data ingestion frameworks and REST API integrations for real-time and batch processing

Develop reusable components using Java/Python for data transformation, orchestration, and pipeline automation

Optimize query performance and data models in Snowflake/Oracle to support analytics and reporting needs

Troubleshoot data pipeline issues and provide production support, including root cause analysis and resolution

Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards in all ETL processes

Participate in CI/CD pipeline setup, code reviews, and DevOps practices for data engineering workflows

Contribute to design, testing, and deployment of scalable data solutions.
Required Skills and Experience:
Strong programming experience in Java and/or Python
Hands-on experience building ETL/data pipelines in enterprise environments
Experience working with REST APIs for data ingestion and integration
Strong database knowledge with Oracle and/or Snowflake
Proficiency in SQL for data transformation and performance tuning
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Typically 3–6+ years of experience in ETL/Data Engineering roles
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Good to Have
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, etc.)
- Knowledge of data ingestion frameworks and enterprise integration tools
- Experience working in Snowflake-based data platforms or EDI/modern data pipelines (aligned with enterprise data ecosystems)
