About the Role
You will architect and implement scalable backend solutions for Digital Asset Yield at Fireblocks. You will research security for blockchain technologies smart contracts and liquidity protocols to identify vulnerabilities before integration. You will leverage AI and ML driven solutions to detect security anomalies optimize capital efficiency and enhance the resilience of core yield services. You will solve hard engineering problems where precision matters and ensure seamless interactions with yield products while maintaining asset security. You will lead by example by championing secure coding practices and contributing to threat modeling and code reviews for financial logic.
Requirements
- 7+ years of backend development experience.
- Strong understanding of system design principles distributed systems and scalability.
- Proven experience designing deploying and monitoring microservices based architectures in production environments.
- Security background.
- Blockchain and DeFi knowledge.
- AI tooling experience with agents MCPs or tools like Claude Code and Cursor.
