About the Role
You will lead two legal teams across multiple jurisdictions balancing a broad range of legal priorities in a fast paced environment. You will oversee contracts intellectual property and litigation matters and provide strategic legal guidance to executives. You will monitor regulatory changes and drive compliance and risk management
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in legal roles with experience handling a broad range of corporate legal matters
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law
- Solid understanding of business operations and their legal implications
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, taxation, company incorporation, regulatory compliance across different jurisdictions
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, as well as managing litigation matters
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical thinking and sound judgment when assessing legal risks
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and support business stakeholders
- Experience managing legal teams
- Experience in software development, fintech, or crypto payments
Responsibilities
- Supervise and develop the legal team to ensure professional growth and capacity to handle complex matters
- Collaborate with the executive team to set up the legal business model in markets we operate in
- Stay up to date on changes to laws and regulations that may impact operations
- Manage contracts intellectual property and litigation matters
- Provide legal guidance to executives and other employees as needed
- Mitigate legal risk on a daily basis
- Develop and implement long term legal strategies for compliance and operations aligned with expansion goals
