About the Role
You will identify and fix high-risk operational bottlenecks by building automated, scalable solutions for internal workflows and tooling. You will map processes, write clear specifications, define success metrics and SLAs, and iterate on tooling with operational teams. You will design automation strategies using internal tools and AI, perform root cause analysis on complex issues (for example AML/KYC, reconciliations, corporate actions, cost basis, and tax reporting), and run build vs. buy evaluations to ensure platform integrity and compliance.
Requirements
- Proven product management or technical operations experience in FinTech, brokerage, or payments platforms
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and secure resources against competing initiatives
- Strong prioritization and judgment with ability to measure product impact against risk and cost and influence senior stakeholders
- Deep experience applying workflow automation and AI pragmatically to operations
- Functional knowledge of brokerage or financial operations including settlements, reconciliations, client money, and compliance
- Experience with broker-dealer platforms, clearing firms, or trading/post-trade operational workflows
- Technical fluency with data, system boundaries, and process mapping
Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap for internal workflows and tooling
- Drive root cause analysis and resolve complex operational problems such as AML/KYC workflows, reconciliations, corporate actions, cost basis processing, tax reporting, and security master/reference data management
- Design and implement automation strategies leveraging internal tooling, AI, and workflow orchestration
- Define success metrics and SLAs, write specifications, map processes, and ship high-leverage tooling
- Design and manage the data framework for prioritizing strategic projects
- Establish, manage, and enforce operational capacity standards across functions
- Perform Build vs. Buy evaluations for core platform components
