About the Role
You will maintain and grow relationships with B2B, B2B2B, and B2B2C customers that have cross-border payment and USD account needs. You will refine and scale the sales engine, report to the Head of Sales, and work closely with the CEO. You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, Legal, and Compliance on cross-functional initiatives. You will leverage your network to identify, source, and close revenue-generating customers, ensure smooth handoffs with the Sales and Business Development team, use data to support decisions, maintain accurate sales activity tracking and pipeline documentation, negotiate and present to prospects, and use prospect feedback to refine processes. You will adopt necessary AI automation and CRM tools to increase efficiency.
Requirements
- Based in or within two hours of Mexico City
- 5-10 years of Sales and/or Business Development experience in global Fintech or Crypto
- Experience selling to Fintechs, international businesses, customs and FX brokers, and institutions
- Demonstrable understanding of the full sales cycle
- Excellent Spanish and English language skills
- Existing relationships with senior professionals in Global Trade or Fintech
- Clear understanding of stablecoins and blockchain value for cross-border payments
- Low ego, proactive cross-functional communicator
- Team player with experience in globally oriented organizations
- Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environments
- Strong follow-through and ability to close opportunities
- Comfortable with AI automation, communication, and CRM tools such as OpenAI, Slack, Notion, Hubspot, and gSuite
- Nice to have: deep understanding of global fintech and crypto regulations
- Nice to have: proficiency in Portuguese
