About the Role
You will listen to real-world Burmese (Myanmar) audio recordings, typically conversations with 2-3 speakers, and transcribe them into clean, accurate, well-structured written text. You'll identify and label different speakers, apply correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation, and follow a provided style guide. You'll need to handle natural speech patterns like overlapping talk, filler words, varying accents, and imperfect audio quality. Before starting production work, you'll complete a short calibration of two practice units to confirm you're ready. Once you pass, you'll move into ongoing production work and get paid per approved audio hour you complete, proportional to how much you finish. You'll work fully remotely, manage your own schedule, and meet reasonable turnaround times on assigned audio.
