About the Role
You'll play a hands-on role in building and shaping our product and infrastructure. You'll join a small, experienced, and highly collaborative team on a contract basis, working across the UI and platform stack to design, build, and ship new features. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to craft a great user experience from concept through launch. You'll optimize the app's performance and reliability across a broad range of iOS devices, ensuring a smooth experience even on entry-level hardware, and improve and maintain core systems related to security and blockchain (Solana) integration. You'll participate in code reviews, testing, and iterative improvements to keep the codebase high-quality and scalable as the company grows.
Requirements
- Experience building high-quality consumer iOS apps at scale.
- Drive to build for millions of people, from the ground up.
- Good communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, both technically and organizationally.
- Enjoys owning problems end-to-end, from early exploration through to releasing things to customers.
- Able to ramp up quickly and work independently within an existing codebase and team, with minimal onboarding.
- Likes to share work early, happy to put something out there when it's ~70% done.
- Experience in fintech or the payments industry (bonus).
- Familiarity with GraphQL and the Solana blockchain or other blockchain technologies (bonus).
- Eye for smooth, delightful animations and UI polish (bonus).
