About the Role
You will join a small, high impact team shaping quality from the ground up across everything shipped: the Veridian Wallet, enterprise credential management applications, cloud based backend services and open source protocol libraries. You will wear multiple hats in a highly complex domain — some weeks writing test automation frameworks, other weeks jumping into CI/CD pipelines, debugging a flaky mobile build, reviewing security sensitive code or helping define acceptance criteria for a feature that did not exist last month.
Requirements
- 3+ years in an SDET or test automation role
- Strong hands-on experience developing production grade automation frameworks in languages like TypeScript and Java
- Familiar with mobile testing (Appium, Maestro or similar)
- Background in security sensitive systems (key management, cryptographic operations)
- Exposure to fault tolerant domains (out of order messaging, connectivity failures)
- Comfort with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred), containers (Docker) and lifecycle tooling (Git, Jira/Confluence)
- Self motivated, independent and thorough in finding what others miss
Responsibilities
- Design and implement end to end, integration and API test automation frameworks
- Build CI/CD quality gates that catch regressions before they merge
- Obsess over edge cases such as revoked keys, out of order events and race conditions
- Test across Veridian's full product stack: wallet, services, libraries
- Collaborate with frontend and backend engineers to improve testability
- Own test environments, test data management and reporting
Benefits
- Remote work with flexible hours
- Annual learning budget
- Annual team building event and departmental team-building day
- Extra day off for birthday
- Additional days off for milestone work anniversaries
