About the Role
You'll take healthtech ideas from zero to venture-backable businesses, working closely with founders to shape strategy, validate problem spaces, build MVPs, and find early product market fit. This is a hands-on, high ownership role where you'll operate across product, design, growth and tech, moving fast and focusing on what creates the most leverage at each stage of a venture. You'll get products into users' hands quickly, using lean, experimental approaches to validate assumptions, and you'll help ventures progress through studio stage gates toward strong, evidence-backed decisions. You'll communicate regularly with founders and the wider studio, sharing progress, learnings, and trade-offs as you build.
Requirements
- Demonstrated 0→1 experience in digital health or medtech, whether at a startup, through a side project, research, or volunteering
- Experience applying AI or developing innovative health/medical devices considered highly advantageous
- Subscribe to lean methodologies and an experimental approach, prioritising speed, learning, and focus over perfection
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats across product, design, tech, and growth, and knowing when to pull in specialist support
- Strong technical mindset with the ability to build no-code / low-code solutions, prototypes, or proofs of concept
- Commercially curious with the ability to think about ICPs, value propositions, pricing hypotheses, and early GTM
- Comfortable communicating ideas, progress and learnings to the team, seeking feedback when needed
- Comfortable setting expectations and ways of working with founders, maintaining strong, honest working relationships
- Available for an initial 6-12 month contract (freelance)

- Shape the customer experience and product vision, balancing user needs with commercial and technical realities
- Work closely with founders to challenge thinking, sharpen focus, and drive momentum
- Help ventures progress through studio stage gates, supporting founders towards evidence-backed IC decisions
- Spot opportunities early by staying close to market dynamics, emerging tech, and real user behaviour
- Communicate clearly and regularly, sharing progress, learnings, trade-offs, and recommendations with founders and the wider studio
