About the Role
You will contribute directly to the fund's research output, producing weekly sector reports, competitive analyses and investment committee briefing materials. You'll be paired with a senior analyst who will mentor you throughout the internship, guiding you on research methodology, analytical frameworks and career development within the digital asset investment space. This is a paid internship with the potential to convert into a full-time position based on performance.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field
- Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals including how smart contracts work, what consensus mechanisms are and how token economies function
- Familiarity with at least one on-chain analytics tool such as Dune Analytics, DefiLlama or Nansen
- Strong analytical writing skills demonstrated through academic papers, blog posts or research reports
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet regular deadlines
- Active interest in the crypto space demonstrated through personal research, community participation or side projects
Responsibilities
- Produce weekly sector reports covering GameFi, SocialFi, RWA tokenization, AI-blockchain integration and emerging DeFi primitives
- Compile competitive analyses comparing protocols within the same vertical on metrics including TVL, user adoption, tokenomics and technical architecture
- Track on-chain metrics for the fund's watchlist of 50 or more protocols using Dune Analytics, DefiLlama and Token Terminal
- Assist senior analysts in preparing investment committee materials including one-pagers, market maps and sector overviews
- Monitor social media, governance forums and developer communities for emerging narratives and sentiment shifts
- Maintain internal databases of protocol documentation, audit reports and team background research
- Participate in weekly research team meetings and present findings on assigned topics
