About the Role
You'll join HashPort's engineering team to work on Japan's largest Web3 wallet application, HashPort Wallet, which serves around one million users. Depending on your interests and skills, you'll be assigned to frontend, backend, or research and development work, or a mix of these areas. You'll mostly tackle high-value, non-time-critical tasks such as bug fixes, feature refinements, and efficiency improvements, working directly with production code under the guidance of senior engineers. You'll also have the opportunity to use AI tools like Copilot and Devin to boost your productivity. If your interests lean toward research, you'll investigate cutting-edge Web3 technology, read academic papers and specifications such as EIPs, write explanatory articles, present findings to the team, and build proof-of-concept implementations of new protocols and technologies.
