About the Role
You will drive the next stage of growth for the LiveOps team and game portfolio. You'll set product direction, grow Product Owners, and drive business outcomes across live game titles through strategic, cross-functional, and people leadership. You'll own strategy for one or more live titles, define LiveOps planning principles, coach product talent, and act as the senior product counterpart across design, production, analytics, engineering, art, UA, and player lifecycle marketing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience, with meaningful ownership of live products in mobile gaming or comparable consumer digital businesses
- Proven experience owning business or product outcomes for live products, ideally including retention, monetization, and LiveOps performance
- Strong understanding of LiveOps strategy, game economy, player lifecycle, and mobile game business drivers
- Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous business goals into clear priorities, align cross-functional teams, and make high-impact decisions
- Experience operating at game-level or team-level scope beyond a single feature area
- Experience coaching, mentoring, or managing Product Owners and other product talent
- Strong analytical thinking and fluency in key product and game metrics such as retention, conversion, ARPDAU, payer metrics, and LTV
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without relying only on formal authority
- Sound product judgment with a strong bias for impact, player value, and business outcomes
Responsibilities
- Own the strategic direction for one or more live game titles, ensuring alignment with company goals, portfolio priorities, and market opportunities
- Translate business goals into clear product priorities across retention, monetization, content strategy, and player experience
- Identify growth opportunities through player behavior, market signals, competitive benchmarking, and internal performance trends
- Set quarterly product goals, define success criteria, and make major trade-off decisions across initiatives
- Balance short-term wins with long-term product health and sustainable franchise growth
- Define the LiveOps direction, planning principles, and success criteria for events, feature releases, offers, economy improvements, and content beats
- Review and challenge seasonal plans to ensure they support business goals, player needs, and portfolio priorities
- Drive continuous optimization of core metrics such as retention, conversion, payer performance, ARPDAU, and LTV
- Guide experimentation priorities by clarifying what product questions matter most and how results should influence future priorities
- Monitor game health and respond to major risks, opportunities, and performance changes
- Lead, coach, and develop Product Owners and other product talent within the team
- Raise team quality through stronger prioritization, sharper decision-making, and better product judgment
- Provide clear direction, feedback, and context so team members can grow in ownership and impact
- Help shape team ways of working, performance expectations, and leadership bench strength for future scaling
- Act as the senior product counterpart across design, production, analytics, engineering, art, UA, and player lifecycle marketing
- Align stakeholders around priorities, trade-offs, target outcomes, and success metrics
- Resolve strategic ambiguity, unblock high-impact decisions, and keep teams focused on the most important business opportunities
- Support healthy execution through clarity of direction, without taking over day-to-day squad ownership
- Promote a culture of ownership, learning, fast iteration, and honest feedback
