- Minimum 6 years background in financial services, FinTech or payments.
- Uncontested business reputation in the Pakistani Finance scene. Strong track record and standing with Pakistani financial authorities and namely PVARA is a plus.
- Demonstrated proven achievements in launching new products and services, business segments, markets, etc.
- Experience of working in a regulated entity in a management role (director, MLRO, etc).
- Experience of working with European/US/UK investors and stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, deep understanding and ability to think in terms of enterprise building criteria.
- Strong local network in the Finance domain. Ability to leverage personal connections for launching and growing the company’s business.
- Strong leadership qualities and proven record of recruiting and leading teams to achieve goals. Demonstrable senior management experience.
- Excellent communication skills. Strong personal brand and presence in the local Finance scene.
- Ability to develop and implement company development strategies. Proven track of delivering results and ownership of the company's performance.
- Knowledge and understanding of crypto, payment rails, B2B and B2C products and solutions, virtual asset management processes.
- Sufficient understanding of virtual assets, financial services, governance and risk management. Able to demonstrate oversight of AML/CFT and operational risk.
- Analytical mindset and business maturity and the ability to make timely informed decisions.
- High level of professionalism and a drive for success.
- Fit and proper declaration.
- No criminal convictions involving fraud, financial crime, money laundering or terrorism financing. No regulatory enforcement history or director disqualification.
- Full ownership of WhiteBIT’s success in the market of Pakistan.
- Leading the pathway of the company’s licensing with the relevant regulatory bodies and other authorities as supported by the Global teams. Ongoing strict compliance of the local entity and its operations with laws and regulations.
- First point of contact for all Pakistani-related activity of WhiteBIT and W Group. ‘The Company’s Face’ in the local market.
- Creation of a solid business plan and maintaining realistic and high-yield budgets for the business development in the regions.
- Transparency and regular performance reporting within the reporting cadences.
- Setting up and rollout of local operations for the company as supported by the Global teams.
- Ownership of the local product and service offering. Managing the product customization and development by the Global teams.
- Conductor and guardian of high global standards of the company in the local market. Training and coaching the local team where needed.
- Collaboration with Global teams to amplify the global reach of the company, capture synergies and ensure smooth operations.
- Ensuring a structured flow of feedback to the Global teams regarding the product, new opportunities in the market, news nd inputs, etc.

For this position, a minimum monthly salary in accordance with the Collective Agreement for Employees in Information and Consulting is foreseen. Overpayment in line with market standards, depending on your qualifications and professional experience, is intended.
