Lattica’s mission is to turn prediction markets into the largest asset class on Earth and, along the way, make traders an ungodly amount of money. Our initial product is the first scalable yet safe decentralized lending and leverage platform for prediction markets.

The Role

We are hiring a Founding Engineer to help build the core infrastructure and risk systems that power Lattica, working directly with the founders and owning how Lattica ships product from the ground up.

This is the perfect opportunity for an ambitious engineer to get in at the absolute ground floor, directly shape the future of a novel financial system, get all of the early-stage experience you'll ever need, make a ton of money, and have a hell of a lot of fun doing it.

What You’ll Do

• Design and iterate on Lattica's core protocol & smart contracts and backend infrastructure
• Improve and tune the risk engine underlying our margin and lending systems
• Own infrastructure, deployments, and system reliability end to end
• Make foundational architecture decisions as an early technical hire
• Help drive product decisions from idea to shipped code

Who You Are

Lattica’s culture is one of moving fast, taking risks, and thinking outside the box. While experience is handy, we strongly emphasize drive and a quickness to learn above all else. As such, you would be a good fit for this role if:

• You have experience in smart contract development (Solidity, Vyper, or similar)
• You have experience in backend systems, ideally at scale
• You've worked with or have interest in quantitative or risk systems, DeFi protocols, or trading infrastructure
• You prefer to ship and iterate rather than “plan.”
• You have traded, used, or believe in the mission of prediction markets.
• Major plus if you live in or are willing to relocate to Philadelphia (it's a great city, we promise).
