About the Role
You will design and build high availability Java and Micronaut services with Python and BigQuery workloads. You will deliver statements confirmations and reconciliations manage regulatory reporting and own production systems through deployment monitoring and incident response. You will also design event schemas and data models and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years building production systems in financial services or another regulated environment
- Strong backend and data technology fundamentals
- Strong PostgreSQL skills and experience with analytical data stores
- Experience designing schemas and data models
- Experience delivering fault-tolerant systems with testing observability and HA/DR practices
- Test-driven and agile working style with end-to-end ownership
- Ability to use large language models to accelerate delivery
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
