Rain closed a $250M Series C in January 2026, valuing the company at $1.95B. Rain is seeking a seasoned Account Manager to join our team, with a dedicated focus on our most strategic accounts. These relationships carry outsized revenue and reputational weight for Rain and require a high-touch, white-glove, deeply relationship-driven servicing model. In this role, you will be a key player in managing these top accounts end-to-end: driving expansions and renewals, leading QBRs, and ensuring Rain shows up as the best possible partner at every stage of the relationship. You will operate in a player-coach model, working closely alongside our existing senior and enterprise account managers. Responsibilities include: embedding directly into our most strategic accounts on day one; owning the senior relationship layer with key leaders across our partners and Rain; unblocking cross-functional issues fast by collaborating with internal teams to understand customer needs and tailor solutions; driving revenue and deepening partnerships by identifying use-case expansion, upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and leading renewals, expansions, and QBRs end-to-end; providing data-driven insights to enhance the user experience; setting the enterprise account management operating rhythm including weekly account health reviews, escalation triage, and internal and third-party coordination; building the playbook for dedicated enterprise servicing and relationship management; and acting as the primary advocate internally for our top accounts.
8+ years in account management, customer success, or strategic partnerships at a fintech, payments, or crypto company, track record owning senior/executive-level client relationships, experience negotiating and managing complex commercial relationships involving legal, compliance, operational, technical, and executive stakeholders, comfort operating without a large team on day one, experience navigating escalations that require pulling in engineering, product, or compliance, senior roles at both large enterprises and startup or scale-up companies, demonstrated ability to identify process improvements, build scalable solutions, and thrive in fast-moving/iterative environments, experience standing up a new team or function from scratch (bonus), deep familiarity with stablecoins, cross-border payments infrastructure, and card issuing ecosystems (bonus), existing network across fintech, banking, payments, stablecoin, or broader financial infrastructure ecosystems (bonus)
