About the Role
You will research power supply options, energy-market conditions, and utility-development topics. You will prepare reports and presentations, support site-selection due diligence, maintain relevant data, develop financial models, analyze tariffs and power costs, monitor regulations, and coordinate with Finance, Legal, and Development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 1–3+ years of experience in energy analysis, utility engineering, or a related analytical role.
- Strong Excel and data-analysis skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis on power supply options, energy market conditions, or utility development topics.
- Prepare data, reports, and presentations for negotiations, market strategy, and utility-development decisions.
- Support site-selection due diligence based on power supply, market, and utility-capacity considerations.
- Track and maintain data relevant to the team's function.
- Coordinate with Finance, Legal, and Development.
- Develop financial models and analytics for energy sourcing and procurement decisions.
- Interpret tariffs, calculate rates, and analyze power costs.
- Monitor energy-market regulations and policy developments relevant to project cost and capacity.
