About the Role
You will lead architecture and development for high-performance C++ trading systems. You will design reliable distributed systems, take work from proposal through production validation, solve low-level performance challenges, improve architecture, build quality safeguards, investigate production issues, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
- Experience building production C++ systems
- Experience designing and evolving complex systems
- Knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, network programming, and performance optimisation in Linux environments
- Experience with distributed consistency, high availability, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, or reliability design
- Knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems, memory, storage, and runtime behaviour
- Debugging, analysis, automated testing, simulation, replay, and experiment-validation experience
- Current right to work in Singapore without requiring visa sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of high-performance C++ trading systems
- Design distributed systems for consistency, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and resilience
- Own technical proposals, design reviews, refactoring, implementation, deployment, debugging, replay, and validation
- Solve networking, protocol, concurrency, memory-management, performance, and operating-system challenges
- Identify systemic architectural issues and redesign components
- Build automated testing, failure-injection, stability-validation, monitoring, and replay safeguards
- Design experiments to validate architecture and diagnose production issues
- Apply AI-assisted engineering practices across development and incident analysis
- Raise engineering standards through reviews and technical discussions
- Mentor engineers and create documentation, playbooks, technical sessions, and reusable frameworks
