About the Role
You will own and elevate the user experience across the drone-piloting app and desktop software used before and after flights. You will contribute to product discovery by mapping user journeys, exploring UX approaches through wireframes or prototypes, and advocating for the ideal experience. You will produce high-fidelity mockups and UI prototypes, establish and maintain a design system, run online and field usability tests, and work with product managers and engineers to deliver measurable outcomes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product design experience with senior or lead-level UX/UI ownership
- Portfolio demonstrating UX exploration, journey maps, wireframes, flows, and developer-ready UI
- Experience building a scalable design system from scratch across products or platforms
- Experience planning and running moderated, remote, in-person, or field usability tests
- Communication and stakeholder-management skills for explaining design rationale to engineers and product managers
- Ability to work autonomously as the first design hire
Responsibilities
