About the Role
You will scale European operations, lead the integration of acquired UK and EU entities, and oversee regulatory and compliance activities. You will manage financial partnerships, optimize commercial flows, grow localized user adoption, and launch KAST Business and KAST Private in the European market.
Requirements
- 10+ years in a senior executive role at a high-growth fintech, neobank, or crypto payments platform
- Experience engaging directly with the Central Bank of Ireland on licence applications, supervisory visits, or PCF approvals
- Experience leading licence applications or post-licensing supervision with European regulators
- Experience managing post-merger integrations, team restructuring, and organizational culture integration
- Knowledge of B2B payment flows, including cross-border settlements, global IBANs, and batch payouts
- Knowledge of B2C/C2C products, including debit cards and P2P transfers
- Be based in Ireland
Responsibilities
- Lead the integration of acquired UK and EU entities
- Drive change-of-control and re-authorisation processes with legal and regulatory advisors
- Oversee expansion of European operations for fiat transfers and card spend
- Launch and scale KAST Business and KAST Private in Europe
- Manage the transition of Gemini UK and EU team members
- Coordinate post-merger work with Latham & Watkins and FS Com
- Ensure the business model complies with legal opinions for cross-border collections and payouts
- Ensure products fit under new licences
- Oversee partnerships supporting the transition to client money accounts
- Negotiate and optimize commercial pricing for European operational flows
- Scale the user base through localized marketing and incentive programs
- Drive adoption of KAST Business
- Identify direct issuance opportunities
