About the Role
You will translate commercial and product goals into detailed technical roadmaps for robot autonomy. You will work with perception, navigation, behavior, locomotion, and field engineering teams to define requirements, prioritize improvements, manage risks, and use field data to improve reliability, safety, and deployment outcomes.
Requirements
- Engineering or science degree focused on robotics, computer science, or an equivalent field
- Experience with industrial customers and robotic-inspection business needs
- Experience in perception, path planning, robot behavior, or advanced control and locomotion
- Technical product management experience with complex hardware-software products
- Experience defining Operational Design Domains and managing associated safety and performance validation
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to translate ambiguous customer needs into development sprints and deliverables
- Systems thinking across robot software and hardware
Responsibilities
- Translate strategic portfolio goals into detailed technical roadmaps
- Prioritize, communicate, and support deployment improvements across perception, behavior, navigation, and locomotion
- Integrate key-account insights into roadmap priorities
- Define and manage product strategy for resilience, reliability, and coverage
- Create value propositions and requirements, including Operational Design Domains
- Translate product needs into functional specifications for R&D teams
- Balance engineering trade-offs against customer value
- Establish and improve robot-performance KPIs
- Identify and remediate reliability, safety, and navigation bottlenecks
- Identify technical dependencies, risks, and edge cases early
- Collaborate with field engineering to deploy features at key accounts
- Turn field performance data and issues into actionable product backlogs
