Role Description As a Senior Software Development Engineer at Candy Digital, you will design, build, and optimize backend services and APIs that power large-scale digital collecting experiences. You will write high-quality, maintainable code, implement robust integrations with blockchain and marketplace platforms, and collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver new features end-to-end. You will own technical solutions from architecture through deployment, conduct code reviews, improve system reliability and performance, and help define best practices for software development. This is a full-time remote role, requiring effective communication, proactive ownership of projects, and a strong focus on secure, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and systems design.
• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming with modern languages and frameworks used in back-end services.
• Experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and database design.
• Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and applying design patterns in production systems.
• Experience building scalable, secure, and high-availability distributed systems, ideally in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with blockchain technologies, digital assets, or Web3 ecosystems; Solana experience is a plus.
• Comfort with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability tooling, and modern development workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to mentor other engineers, and strong, inclusive communication in a remote, cross-functional team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
