About the Role
You will identify and win organizations that distribute real-time data, replace their cloud distribution systems with DoubleZero, and develop the sales motion from scratch. You will travel extensively, build relationships with technical and commercial stakeholders, carry deals through signed pilots, and bring field feedback to product and engineering.
Requirements
- Track record selling technical infrastructure such as cloud, networking, data platforms, or market data
- Understanding of real-time data technologies including WebSockets, pub/sub, CDNs, and message buses
- Existing network among data owners in relevant industries
- Ability to distinguish technical and political objections
- Ability to operate independently and manage an expense budget
- Comfort with extensive travel
Responsibilities
- Find and win organizations producing real-time data
- Replace cloud WebSocket and CDN distribution with DoubleZero
- Show data owners how to monetize feeds through paying subscribers
- Travel extensively to build relationships and run discovery
- Carry deals from the first meeting through signed pilots
- Bring field feedback to product and engineering
- Build the sales motion and help hire and lead the growing team
