About the Role
You will own the inference portfolio and take end-to-end responsibility for complex product lines. You will define strategy, annual goals, roadmaps, specifications, pricing, packaging, launches, adoption, revenue contribution, and gross margin. You will work with customers and engineering teams to turn needs around latency, throughput, compliance, cost, capacity, scheduling, routing, reliability, and open-source inference advances into product decisions.
Requirements
- Deep product experience in technology and infrastructure.
- Track record bringing inference, cloud infrastructure, or large-scale distributed systems to market.
- Engineering background before product management.
- Experience taking an infrastructure or inference product from early stage to material revenue and adoption.
- Experience owning complex product lines end to end.
- Knowledge of gross margin, unit economics, token pricing, and GPU capacity tradeoffs.
- Ability to prototype with AI coding tools and write product specifications.
- Credibility with executives, engineers, and customers.
Responsibilities
- Define the vision, strategy, and annual goals for the inference portfolio.
- Benchmark the managed-inference field and identify competitive opportunities.
- Own the lifecycle of serverless inference, dedicated endpoints, and adjacent services.
- Prioritize, ship, measure, and iterate on products.
- Own adoption, revenue contribution, gross margin, unit economics, and capacity tradeoffs.
- Partner on pricing, packaging, and launches.
- Turn customer constraints into roadmap choices.
- Partner with inference engineering and cloud infrastructure on capacity planning, scheduling, routing, and reliability.
- Track open-source inference advances and model architectures.
- Help hire, mentor, and set the product bar for the inference PM team.
