About the Role
You will build venture-investment skills by working with Managing Directors and independently sourcing, evaluating, and closing investment opportunities. You will research markets, companies, and technologies; support investment and partnership diligence across the US and Asia; and help portfolio companies and corporate partners with strategy, introductions, and go-to-market questions. You will evaluate AI tools, take on cross-functional projects, track developments in technology, and share relevant insights. The role focuses primarily on consumer services, with regular in-office attendance, occasional travel, and meetings outside standard hours as needed.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree
- At least 3 years of highly successful professional experience
- Ability to develop and leverage strong professional relationships
- Passion and intellectual curiosity about technology and startups
- Ability to learn new technologies and develop insights
- Ability to work across multiple roles in an unstructured environment
- Emotional intelligence and ability to contribute as a team member
- Outstanding written, verbal, and analytical communication skills
- Availability to travel regularly
Responsibilities
- Research markets, companies, and technologies and develop defensible investment views
