We're looking for Software Engineering Interns to join our team for a summer internship. You'll work alongside experienced engineers to build real features that impact our members, gaining hands-on experience across the full stack. This isn't a side project internship—you'll contribute meaningful code to our production platform from day one.
This opportunity is based at Range's Headquarters in McLean, VA. This is a part-time in-office position.
Build and ship features across our web platform alongside a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and product managers
Write clean, well-tested code that contributes to a secure, scalable production environment
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and engineering team rituals
Learn and apply engineering best practices in a fast-paced startup setting
Take ownership of an intern project with real user impact, presenting your work to the team at the end of the program
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028)
Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar programming languages
Eagerness to work across the stack—frontend, backend, and infrastructure
Strong problem-solving skills and a curiosity for learning new technologies quickly
Excellent product instincts—you think about users first, not just the most elegant technical solution
Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced startup environment where you won't always be told exactly what to do
Experience building web applications with React and TypeScript
Exposure to Node.js or server-side JavaScript
Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
Personal projects, open-source contributions, or hackathon experience
Interest in fintech or financial services
