We’re looking for an experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our engineering team in Burnaby, Canada. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Software Development Engineering, you will be responsible for

Fixing customer and cloud reliability issues and delivering reliability features for critical customers Developing solutions and observability tools focusing on early detection and prevention of cloud and customer issues Designing and driving solutions that provide reliable cloud security for customers Building automation for troubleshooting and monitoring purposes

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

5+ years of experience in software development and/or sustenance engineering Proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and Linux Hands-on experience with network security products and technologies like firewalls, VPNs, and data protection Strong interest in troubleshooting and problem solving for customer issues and good knowledge with public cloud and/or kubernetes technologies is a plus Experience in developing cloud and customer reliability tools

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant field of Engineering Experience with cloud reliability engineering in comparable technology environments Proven success in delivering products as cloud-based services
