What you'll do Build and refine the SOX 404 compliance framework, specifically tailored for a digital asset exchange environment.
Work closely with Engineering and Product teams for automated controls for on-chain transactions, cold/hot wallet management, and automated reconciliation.
Perform annual and ongoing risk assessments to identify key financial reporting risks unique to crypto (e.g., private key management, and gas fee accounting).
Serve as the point of contact for external auditors in managing walkthroughs, testing, and evidence collection.
Partner with business owners to design any remediation plans.
What you'll need 6+ years in Internal Audit / SOX compliance / Public Accounting (Big 4).
Understanding of how blockchains work, including wallet architecture, exchange mechanics, and the lifecycle of a digital asset transaction.
Experience with SOC 1 / SOC 2 reports and an understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC) in cloud-native (AWS/GCP) environments.
CPA, CIA, or CISA preferred.
