What you'll do Strategic leadership.

Set and execute the long-term vision for Morph as a global payments settlement layer.

Translate that vision into an annual operating plan, resource allocation, and measurable commercial outcomes.

Make the capital, partnership, and product bets that position Morph ahead of an increasingly crowded L2 and payments infrastructure landscape.

Commercial and ownership.

Own onchain activity growth, and path to sustainable operations.

Drive the strategy behind Morph's payments accelerator program, ecosystem incentives, and merchant/issuer partnerships.

Ensure capital is deployed against the highest-ROI growth levers.

Ecosystem and partnerships.

Cultivate senior relationships with payments networks, payment service providers, card issuers, stablecoin issuers, exchanges, wallets, on/off-ramp providers, and regional financial institutions.

Personally lead the most strategic partnership discussions, particularly those spanning Greater China, Southeast Asia, and other priority regions.

Product and technical direction.

Work closely with the product and tech leadership to ensure Morph's technical roadmap — decentralized sequencers, hybrid rollup architecture, payments primitives, BGB utility — remains aligned with commercial reality and differentiated against L2 competitors.

Regulatory and policy engagement.

Represent Morph in front of regulators, policy bodies, and industry associations in key jurisdictions.

Work closely with legal and compliance leadership to navigate stablecoin frameworks/regulation, and emerging crypto payments rules — making informed decisions about market entry, product scope, and risk posture.

Organizational leadership.

Recruit, develop, and retain a world-class executive team spanning engineering, product, BD, marketing, finance, legal, and operations.

Build a high-performance culture that can operate across a globally distributed team and multiple time zones.

External representation and spokesperson role.

Serve as the public face of Morph across keynote stages, press, podcasts, regulator meetings, and institutional partner conversations — in both English and Mandarin.

Build and protect the brand's credibility with crypto-native, payments, and mainstream audiences simultaneously.

What you'll need Payments expertise (non-negotiable). 10+ years in the global payments industry, with direct operating experience at a card network, issuer, acquirer, cross-border payments company, fintech, or stablecoin/crypto payments infrastructure provider.

Deep fluency in payments economics, settlement, compliance, merchant acquiring, and issuing.

Web3 / blockchain experience.

Demonstrated working knowledge of crypto and blockchain — ideally through an operating role at a Web3 company, a crypto product line within a fintech, or hands-on involvement with stablecoins, L1/L2 infrastructure, or on-chain payment rails.

Does not need to be a protocol engineer, but must be able to credibly hold a technical conversation with Morph's engineering team and the broader Web3 community.

Executive leadership track record.

Prior experience as a CEO, GM, Managing Director, or owner of a business unit with full business responsibility.

Proven ability to scale organizations through growth stages and to make hard capital allocation and prioritization decisions.

Full bilingual fluency (English and Mandarin Chinese).

Must be able to present, negotiate, write, and represent the company at a native-professional level in both languages.

Exceptional communicator.

Demonstrated ability to be the primary public voice of an organization — keynote experience, press credibility, comfort with live interviews and difficult questions.

Equally strong in 1:1 executive settings with regulators, investors, and enterprise partners.

Strategic and commercial judgment.

Track record of setting strategy in ambiguous, fast-moving markets and backing it with disciplined execution.

Skilled in navigating large complex deals and strategic partnerships.

Global operating experience.

Comfortable leading a distributed team across APAC, Europe, and the Americas.
