— Master of Laws from a recognized university.
— 3–5 years of legal experience, preferably in:
financial institutions
fintech companies
brokerage firms
law firms advising financial sector clients.
— Strong knowledge of Turkish legislation, particularly in financial services, capital markets, and fintech regulation.
— Practical experience working with regulations and requirements of:
— Capital Markets Board of Türkiye (SPK)
— Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK)
— Central Securities Depository of Türkiye (MKK)
— Turkish Capital Markets Licensing Registry and Training Agency (SPL)
— Understanding of AML/CFT regulations and compliance frameworks.
— Experience drafting and negotiating commercial and financial agreements.
— Knowledge of cross-border financial regulations.
— Fluent Turkish and English (written and spoken).
— Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
— Ability to work independently and manage multiple legal matters in a fast-paced environment.
— Provide legal advice and support on matters related to financial services, capital markets, and regulatory compliance in Turkey.
— Ensure company operations comply with Turkish legislation and financial regulatory requirements.
— Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including service agreements, partnership agreements, NDAs, vendor contracts, and customer documentation.
— Monitor regulatory developments and ensure compliance with regulations issued by the Capital Markets Board of Türkiye, Financial Crimes Investigation Board, and the Central Securities Depository of Türkiye.
— Support internal teams in implementing regulatory standards and best practices defined by the Turkish Capital Markets Licensing Registry and Training Agency.
— Provide legal risk assessments for new products, financial services, and partnerships.
— Support AML/CFT compliance initiatives and internal procedures in coordination with compliance teams.
— Assist with corporate governance, regulatory filings, and communication with regulators.
— Provide legal guidance on data protection, privacy, and financial consumer protection laws in Turkey.
— Support dispute resolution and manage cooperation with external legal advisors when necessary.
