Due to expansion Elwood is looking to expand our sales team in both New York and London. Elwood Technologies is a FCA regulated firm that provides end-to-end institutional-grade digital asset Execution, Liquidity Access and Portfolio Monitoring & Risk Management Software. Built with institutions for institutions, Elwood’s EMS offers best available price execution, smart order routing and algorithmic tooling alongside a traditional finance grade Portfolio Management System.
Our seamless end-to-end platform connects to global crypto exchanges, custodians, and liquidity providers, via a single Application Programming Interface (API). Elwood provides market infrastructure at scale, enabling financial institutions and corporations to access digital asset markets quickly and efficiently.
The Sales Director role acts as a single point of contact for new and existing clients, driving revenue growth and market share for Elwood Technologies in the US region. The role requires a target driven individual with a strong understanding of and experience in digital assets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving annual revenue targets and retaining a loyal client base. The successful candidate will have a client centric approach; delivering services, solutions and strategies that represent value for our clients. They are a key part of the Front Office team and as such will be expected to work in line with the company’s strategy as well as contributing fresh strategic ideas that can benefit the business.
Generating business from existing and new clients - Negotiating terms of sales and agreements and closing sales with customers
Build and manage a pipeline of clients
Building long term mutually beneficial relationships with clients
Own the full sales lifecycle for clients and be the single point of contact for clients post-implementation and work collaboratively across all Elwood functions to champion the client and drive outcomes
Work closely with the product, client delivery and engineering team to help drive product development and meet client’s needs.
Uphold a risk & compliance mindset at all times
Providing a proactive and service led relationship for all clients
Collect product feedback from clients and share with Product team
Work collaboratively across the firm to drive usage
Responsible for achieving a level of revenue growth for your portfolio
Working collaboratively with the rest of the team
Representing Elwood at external events on a regular basis
Consistently upholding the company culture, core values and principles with a risk and compliance mindset
At least 5 years of relevant industry experience in a sales or business development role; experience in front end trading systems or crypto industry essential
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and lead generation
Strong understanding of financial services and the crypto market
Strong entrepreneurial skills and a natural ability to spot opportunities for revenue generation
Strong industry/network and connections which could serve as a potential client base
Accountable individual that is willing to take a wide range of responsibility across several different areas within the business
Personable and has the skills to build rapport and establish personal relationships
Ability to attend regular external events and travel domestically and internationally as required
