The Futures Repeat Volume Charter is the durability engine for CoinDCX’s F&O business. While acquisition brings users in, this charter ensures they stay, deepen, and compound. You will own the entire M2+ lifecycle – from building long-term retention systems to growing repeat trading volumes and AVPU across the mature user base.
Beyond the core retention mandate, this is also the charter that owns CoinDCX’s channel ecosystem and VIP segment for Futures. You will build and scale distribution through KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) and Sub-Brokers, and personally own the relationship and volume strategy for VIP / Pro-Traders – the high-value segment that disproportionately drives category revenue.
As Senior Manager / Associate Director, you will operate as the GM for “mature Futures users.” You’ll combine deep retention thinking with commercial instinct – diagnosing churn, engineering stickiness, managing channel P&L, and growing wallet share from the traders who matter most. This is the most commercially impactful charter in the Derivatives business.
This is a senior, high-autonomy role. If the situation demands, you will also build and manage a team to scale across retention, channels, and VIP programs.
* Own M2+ Retention: Be the DRI for user retention from the second month onwards. Build a deep understanding of why users churn, when they disengage, and what keeps them trading. Design and execute retention systems – not just campaigns – that compound over time. * Drive Repeat AVPUs: Own the average volume per user for the repeat/mature cohort. Identify levers that grow trading depth – product feature adoption, trading pair expansion, leverage usage, and cross-sell from Spot to F&O. * Cohort-Based Lifecycle Management: Build cohort-level visibility into user behaviour post-M1. Segment users by trading maturity, risk appetite, and engagement patterns. Design differentiated interventions for each segment rather than one-size-fits-all retention programs. * Churn Diagnosis & Win-Back: Build early-warning systems for churn. Diagnose root causes (market-driven vs. product-driven vs. competitive), and design targeted win-back programs for high-value dormant users.Channels – KOLs & Sub-Brokers
* Build & Scale KOL Distribution: Work with the KOL (Key Opinion Leader) Team to Futures – identify, onboard, and manage relationships with crypto influencers and trading educators who can drive awareness, credibility, and volume. Influence the channel P&L and ROI for KOL partnerships. * Sub-Broker Ecosystem: Collaborate with CoinDCX’s sub-broker channel for Futures. Design the commercial model, onboarding process, incentive structure, and volume targets. Treat sub-brokers as a scalable distribution engine, not a one-off partnership. * Channel Performance & ROI: Influence end-to-end channel economics. Track volume contribution, CAC, LTV, and margin impact for each channel. Make hard trade-offs on where to invest and where to prune.VIP / Pro-Traders
* Influence the VIP Segment: Influence the strategy and relationships for CoinDCX’s highest-value Futures traders. Understand what pro-traders need – execution speed, liquidity depth, fee structures, API access – and work with Product to deliver it. * Volume & Wallet Share Growth: Build programs that grow trading volume and wallet share from VIP users. Design tiered incentive structures, exclusive features, and white-glove support that deepens their commitment to CoinDCX over competitors. * Competitive Intelligence: Stay deeply plugged into where pro-traders trade and why. Monitor competitor offerings, fee structures, and product features. Use insights to inform CoinDCX’s positioning with this segment.Cross-Cutting
* Revenue Decomposition: Decompose repeat-user revenue into its drivers (active user base, trading frequency, volume per trade, fee realisation). Diagnose movements at the driver level and design interventions accordingly. * Cross-Functional Leadership: Work across Product, Tech, Marketing, Growth, and Operations. Influence roadmap prioritisation for retention and VIP features. Align stakeholders around the repeat volume charter with clarity and conviction. * Strategic Communication: Present charter performance to the Category Head and leadership. Build the narrative around repeat volume and retention health – the metrics that define the long-term durability of the business.
You’ll Excel in This Role If You
* Think in LTV, Not Campaigns: You see retention as a system, not a set of push notifications. You understand cohort curves, engagement loops, and what drives long-term user value. * Have Commercial Instinct: You’ve managed channel economics, partnership P&Ls, or segment-level revenue. You understand ROI at a granular level and make hard resource allocation decisions. * Can Manage Up and Out: You’re comfortable in rooms with pro-traders, KOLs, and founders alike. You adjust your communication style without losing substance. * Solve from First Principles: You don’t rely on retention playbooks. You diagnose why users leave, build hypotheses, and test them. You ask “why” before “how.” * Are Data-First: You write your own SQL, build your own cohort analyses, and don’t wait for the BI team to tell you what’s happening. * Build Relationships That Drive Revenue: You know the difference between managing a relationship and managing a number. For VIPs and channel partners, you do both simultaneously. * Operate with Ownership: You treat the repeat volume charter as your business. You make trade-offs, flag hard truths, and optimise for long-term value.
* 8–10 years of experience in business, category management, retention, growth, or partnerships roles at high-growth companies. * Prior experience owning retention, LTV, or repeat-revenue metrics for a product, category, or user segment. * Experience building or managing channel/partner ecosystems (KOLs, affiliates, sub-brokers, or equivalent). * Demonstrated ability to manage high-value relationships (VIP clients, key accounts, or pro-user segments). * Strong revenue decomposition and cohort-analysis skills. * Proficiency in SQL – ability to independently build analyses and extract insights. * Cross-functional leadership – proven ability to influence Product, Tech, and Marketing without direct authority. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* MBA from a Tier-1 institute. * Prior category or P&L ownership experience. * Experience at Tier-1 startups or high-growth B2C platforms. * Familiarity with crypto, trading, or financial products. * Experience in broker/distributor network management. * Direct experience managing relationships with professional/institutional traders.
