About the Role
You'll join as Metabase's first Account Manager, supporting a brand-new cross-sell motion. With Metabot, our new AI product, already released and even bigger releases planned for next year, you'll help build and run the selling motion that brings this value to our thousands of existing customers. This is a true 0-1 role with no existing playbook — you'll be supported as things get built out, but you'll be expected to design processes and playbooks while also managing and closing pipeline. It's an exciting opportunity to shape a key part of our next phase of growth.
Requirements
- Experience being the first person in a role of its kind at a company
- Ability to iterate on technical product messaging
- Ability to manage an active opportunity pipeline
- Experience assisting customers with technical proof of concepts
- Familiarity with tooling that will help with the job: Clay, Unify, Salesforce, etc.
Responsibilities
- Define and build target account plans
- Build and refine new product positioning
- Manage pipeline from creation to close
