About the Role
You will manage monthly management and annual statutory reporting for assigned group entities and support consolidated reporting. You will maintain accurate accounting records, manage payables and receivables, complete reconciliations and month-end activities, strengthen internal controls, ensure compliance, and lead year-end accounts and audits.
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant with 5 years PQE
- In-depth technical knowledge of IFRS
- Experience with audit engagements
- Awareness of regulatory and compliance landscapes
- Experience with accounting systems, ideally NetSuite
- Advanced skills with Microsoft and/or Google products
- English language proficiency
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate monthly management accounts for assigned group entities
- Ensure assets, liabilities, income, and expenditure are correctly accounted for
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoices, reconciliations, and payment collection
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities
- Maintain the general ledger, chart of accounts, supporting schedules, and financial records
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and tax obligations
- Lead year-end statutory accounts and audits and liaise with external parties
- Assist with group consolidated reporting
