About the Role
You will lead drafting and negotiation of high-value customer agreements for AI cloud and GPU infrastructure services. You will advise on deal structure, commercial risk, data privacy, security, export controls, and regulations; manage post-signature matters; build legal playbooks; train commercial teams; and mentor junior lawyers.
Requirements
- JD from an accredited US law school
- Active membership in good standing of at least one US state bar
- 8+ years of commercial legal experience, including substantial in-house experience at a cloud, SaaS, or infrastructure company
- Experience negotiating complex, high-value customer-facing agreements
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure, SaaS, data-center, colocation, or telecom services
- Understanding of technology contracting, SLAs, data protection, security, intellectual property, and risk allocation
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead drafting and negotiation of customer agreements for AI cloud and GPU infrastructure services
- Negotiate commercial, risk, pricing, capacity-delivery, security, intellectual-property, data, liability, and termination terms
- Align customer commitments with upstream supply, data-center delivery, and financing obligations
- Support partner, reseller, marketplace, strategic-alliance, and public-sector agreements
- Advise Sales and commercial leadership on deal structure and negotiation strategy
- Advise on data privacy, security, export control, and AI-related regulations
- Manage amendments, expansions, renewals, disputes, and commercial escalations
- Develop templates, negotiation playbooks, fallback positions, and approval matrices
- Train Sales and Deal Desk teams and mentor junior lawyers
