About the Role
You will analyze large genetic, genomic, and clinical datasets; develop approaches to integrate and interpret multimodal data; implement machine-learning algorithms for imaging and omics associations; prepare incoming datasets; document code and findings; and present results to collaborators.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in large-scale genetic or genomic data analysis
- Understanding of genetic epidemiology
- Experience with association analysis using array- and sequence-based human genetic data
- Experience analyzing molecular assay data, including RNA-Seq, single-cell sequencing data, or proteomic data
- Experience integrating genetic and molecular data for multimodal analyses
- PhD or a master's degree with significant experience in a related field
- Fluency in R, Python, and shell scripting
- Experience with Git and high-performance computing using SLURM
- Ability to produce high-quality analysis results with minimal supervision
- Communication skills and experience working as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets of genetic, genomic, and clinical data
- Develop analytical approaches to integrate and interpret data
- Implement machine-learning algorithms for associations between imaging and omics data
- Coordinate the intake and preparation of new datasets
- Document processes, findings, and code
- Present findings to collaborators and contribute to publications
