The future of Web3 starts with you — join us as a Compliance Officer (Brazil). — 5+ years of experience in compliance, preferably in financial services, fintech, or crypto — Strong knowledge of AML/CFT frameworks, KYC/KYB processes, and regulatory requirements — Proven experience analyzing corporate and individual documentation — Experience interacting with regulators, audits, or regulatory frameworks is a strong plus — Background in crypto or digital assets is highly preferred — Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail — Ability to work independently and structure processes from scratch — Hands-on profile with a proactive approach to problem-solving — Experience working with cross-functional teams — Ability to collaborate with external advisors — Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex topics clearly — High level of ownership and accountability — Native Portuguese and advanced/fluency in English — Build and structure the compliance function in Brazil from the ground up, ensuring alignment with local regulatory requirements — Lead and execute AML/CFT, KYC, and KYB processes, including review and approval of client and partner onboarding — Analyze corporate and individual documentation, including complex ownership structures and risk profiles — Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in collaboration with legal and compliance advisors — Act as the main point of contact for compliance matters in Brazil, coordinating with global compliance, legal, and external partners — Monitor and interpret the evolving regulatory landscape for crypto in Brazil, ensuring the company remains compliant and prepared — Support regulatory readiness and licensing processes, including documentation, governance, and internal controls — Establish and maintain risk assessment frameworks, including client risk classification and transaction monitoring standards — Identify compliance risks and propose mitigation measures, ensuring proper controls are in place — Ensure proper governance, documentation, and record-keeping across all compliance activities — Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, product) to ensure compliance requirements are embedded in processes — Provide guidance and support to the business while balancing regulatory requirements and operational efficiency Immerse yourself in Crypto & Web3: — Master cutting-edge technologies and become an expert in the most innovative industry.
