The future of Web3 starts with you: join us as a Chief Executive Officer (United Kingdom)! — Finished Bachelor/Masters degree in Finance, Law, Compliance, Management or Business. — The candidate has to be of good repute, and meet the requirements of sufficient honesty, integrity and clean criminal records. — The candidate should be located in the United Kingdom. — Proven executive leadership experience (CEO / Managing Director / COO or equivalent) within regulated digital assets, custody, exchange infrastructure or financial services. — Demonstrated experience building or scaling a regulated business, including development of governance frameworks, operational controls and compliance infrastructure. — Strong understanding of digital asset custody, settlement flows, wallet architecture governance and operational risk controls. — Experience engaging with regulators (ideally FCA) and operating within UK regulatory expectations, including AML/CTF frameworks and Senior Managers accountability principles. — Track record of full P&L ownership, budgeting discipline and delivery against Board-approved strategic plans. — Experience leading organisations through periods of structural growth, licensing, regulatory expansion or institutional scaling. — Ability to operate effectively within Board governance structures and maintain strong shareholder alignment. — Excellent communication skills and ability to represent the firm with the WhiteBIT Group, institutional partners, regulators and public stakeholders. — SMF-1 and/or SMF-3 approval, or eligibility under the UK Senior Managers & Certification Regime, would be strongly advantageous. — The qualifications of the Candidate should be proven by certificates, diplomas, and any other relevant documents.
Strategic Leadership: — Define and execute the company’s long-term vision, strategic roadmap, and growth objectives. — Drive innovation in products, services, and customer experience to remain competitive in global markets. — Build and lead a high-performing executive team across Compliance, Finance, Legal, Product and Operations. — Build strong internal leadership and a high-performance culture across all teams. — Lead by example.
Regulatory & Compliance Stewardship: — Lead the transition from the FCA’s current crypto asset regime to full FSMA-regulated status. — Engage proactively in communication with the FCA and other relevant UK authorities, ensuring transparent and effective regulatory relationships. — Oversee compliance frameworks, including AML/CTF, sanctions screening, KYC, prudential standards, operational resilience, and conduct obligations. — Ensure proper governance frameworks are established and maintained, including risk management, audit oversight, and board reporting structures.
Operational, Risk & Financial Management: — Drive operational discipline, scalability, and resilience in key functions including trading infrastructure, custody, security, and clearing processes. — Ensure financial sustainability through responsible budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation. — Establish robust risk management and oversight of financial, operational, and reputational risk. — Ensure institutional-grade security governance across custody, treasury and digital asset infrastructure. — Lead incident management and escalation protocols where required.
Stakeholder Engagement: — Establish and maintain a regular governance cycle with the WhiteBIT Group. — Represent the Company before regulatory authorities, legal advisors, investors, partners, customers, and industry associations. — Communicate company performance, strategy, and risk posture to the Board of Directors and investors. — Cultivate key partnerships to drive business expansion, market access, and ecosystem integration.
