KuCoin is seeking a highly motivated and experienced App Store Optimization (ASO) Specialist to enhance the visibility and performance of our mobile applications on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and other app marketplaces.
The ASO Specialist will be responsible for optimizing app store listings, driving organic downloads, and improving user acquisition and retention through data-driven strategies.
This role requires a deep understanding of mobile app ecosystems, keyword optimization, and performance analytics.
App Store Optimization : Develop and execute ASO strategies to improve app rankings, visibility, and conversion rates across major app stores (Apple App Store, Google Play Store, etc.).
Keyword Research & Optimization : Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-impact keywords and optimize app titles, subtitles, descriptions, and metadata to boost discoverability.
A/B Testing : Design and implement A/B tests for app store creatives (icons, screenshots, videos, and descriptions) to maximize user engagement and conversion rates.
Performance Analysis : Monitor and analyze app store performance metrics (e.g., impressions, downloads, conversion rates, retention) using tools like App Annie, Sensor Tower, or similar platforms.
Competitor Analysis : Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps in the market to refine KuCoin’s ASO strategies.
Creative Collaboration : Work closely with the design and marketing teams to create compelling visual assets and promotional content that align with ASO best practices.
Localization : Collaborate with localization teams to optimize app store listings for different regions and languages, ensuring cultural relevance and keyword effectiveness.
Stay Updated : Keep abreast of industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices in ASO, mobile marketing, and the cryptocurrency industry.
Reporting : Provide regular reports and actionable insights to stakeholders on ASO performance, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
Experience : 3+ years of experience in App Store Optimization, mobile marketing, or a related field, preferably in the tech, fintech, or cryptocurrency industry.
Technical Skills : Proficiency with ASO tools (e.g., App Annie, Sensor Tower, AppTweak) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase).
Familiarity with SEO principles is a plus.
Analytical Mindset : Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Creativity : Experience collaborating with creative teams to develop engaging app store assets that align with brand guidelines.
Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Spanish) are a plus.
Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with the cryptocurrency or financial services industry is highly desirable.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
